Finding Web Resources Using Search Engines
- Databases containing indexed and fulltext journals are located via the Web
are different than Web pages. These magazines and journals are often the same
as the paper edition you purchase in the store.
- Search engines are a 'window' to the information located on the Web.
- When you search the Web - you are not searching all 5 billion pages. You
are searching a small subset of the information located on the Web. That is
one reason it is beneficial to use more than one search engine when looking
for information.
