Key Concepts           Defining Your Topic

 

• Define your topic in a clear short sentence
• Identify the concepts that reflect the main ideas in your research statement
• Remember to use synonyms, related terms and plurals

  When identifying keywords to be used in your search, remember:

  spelling variations - organizational or organizational	related terms
  plurals - employee or employees	different common spellings (e.g. American or British)
  synonyms (alternative words)
