Pearl Williams

The first Founding Faculty member at Estrella Mountain Community College, Pearl Williams is a native Mississippian with a plethora of educational experience. Her experience includes upper elementary school, secondary school, undergraduate and graduate level of courses. Additionally, She is an advocate of reading and writing in the content areas and technology integration into courses.
Her current responsibilities include chairing the division of Developmental Education, teaching developmental courses and African-American and Children's Literature, implementing the Success Learning Community and co-piloting the first hybrid course in Developmental Education at Estrella Mountain Community College.
