Week 15

Mon. 12/01-Fri. 12/05

In class this week, students will:
1. Review using forms of be able to to (Unit 10) to talk about past and future abilities
2. Review using past tense to describe good/bad events.
3. Start Unit 11

Note: The test on Units 9-10 originally scheduled for this week is cancelled. The questions from this test will be included on the Final Exam, which will be on Wednesday, December 17.

Week 14

In class, students will:
1. Review using simple past and past progressive to describe problems and accidents.
2. Do Unit 10 - talking about past and future abilities

Week 13
Fri. 11/21

In class, students will finish Unit 9 and start Unit 10. For homework, students need to:

1. Share their "Bad Day" and "Funny or Embarrassing Experience" stories on the Wimba Voice Board (10 points each story).
2. Listen and reply to 2 other students' stories on the voice board. You can ask the students a question or make a comment (5 points for each reply). Click here to enter the voice board to record your stories and listen/reply to your classmates' stories.

Wed. 11/19

In class, students will continue Unit 9.

For homework, students need to:
Prepare (think of, look up vocabulary for, practice telling) a story about an accident or bad day they or someone they know had AND another story about a funny or embarrassing experience they or someone they know had.
Students will share these stories during the next computer speaking assignment.

Mon. 11/17

In class, students will begin Unit 9.

For homework, students need to:
Study the past tense forms of the verbs on page 83.

Week 12

In class, students will:

1. Written Homework 1 (10 points) - Complete the first 3 pages of the 4-page handout that Diane gave you in class Wednesday to practice what you learned in Unit 1 pages 2-5 of the textbook.
