On Monday, 11/24, day students will start discussing the simple past tense verb tense.

:For homework due Wednesday 11/26:
1. Write 4 sets of 3 sentences in the past:  a question, a long answer using the negative form, and a long answer using the affirmative form.  All together, you need to have 12 sentences in total.

Examples: 

Question:  Did you watch TV last night?

Affirmative:  I didn't watch TV last night.

Negative:  I studied English last night.

Question:  What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
Negative:  I didn't eat a big breakfast.

Affirmative:  I ate a piece of toast.  That was the only thing I ate.

In class on Wednesday, 11/26, day students will start Chapter 8 - past tense was/were.
