Doctor Milagro Escalona-Alvarado, a native of Caracas, Venezuela, has been a faculty member at Estrella Mountain Community College since 1996. Doctor Escalona teaches Beginning Spanish Conversation 115 and 116, Elementary Spanish 101 and 102, and Intermediate Spanish 201 and 202. Her areas of interest are: Language Teaching Methodology. Contemporary Latin American and Spanish Theatre. Spanish and Latin American Literature of the XIX Century. Venezuelan Literature of the XX Century.
