The Business Core
Arizona is unique. All five public universities,
in cooperation with all twenty-three community colleges,
created a universal
Academic Business transfer degree program.


Complete the Business Core

These courses may also be used to meet the AAS in
Organizational Management Degree Requirements.
Anyone with an AAS Degree may transfer into the
Bachelor's of Applied Science (BAS) Degree program
at Arizona State University as a "True Junior."

Admission Requirements: 1 semester prior to transfer:
- 2.0 or better transfer GPA
- Complete or be enrolled in the AGEC-B core.
- See http://www.vpsa.asu.edu/uga/requirements for
- - alternatives to the AGEC.
- Send official transcripts to ASU.
- Apply for admission to the university.

At least 2 semesters prior to transfer:
- Take the SAT Reasoning or ACT exam and obtain at
- - a 1040 STA or 22 ACT score.
-- Send SAT/ACT scores to ASU
-- Complete 7 of 10 skills courses: CIS159 or CIS162AD
-- -- ENG101/107 ENG102/108 GBS220 GBS221
-- -- MAT212 ECN111 ECN112 ACC230 ACC240

1 semester prior to transfer:
- Be enrolled in any of the 10 skills courses not yet
- -- completed.
-- Apply to the professional program during the 10 day
-- -- application window (usually early May, late August
-- -- and late January.
-- Arrange for skills course grades to be FAXed to ASU
-- -- when grades assigned.
-- Be enrolled in 47th credit hour.
-- At least 3.0 GPA on all transfer courses.

Community college graduates,
who complete an ABUS Business Core and related
General Education Requirements
with a competitive GPA, will be accepted into the professional business program at any
Arizona public university as a true junior.
