Your 2004 Bond Dollars at Work
On July 26, 2005, the Maricopa Community Colleges Governing Board awarded Orcutt Winslow and Modular Technology the contract to design and build a new classroom complex at Estrella Mountain Community College. This state of the art classroom complex will allow the college to provide West Valley citizens increased access to education, job training, and will include technology integration. The "Ocotillo Hall" classroom complex, is the first capital project as a result of Prop 401, classes opened in January 2006.

- $71M allocated for Estrella Mountain

February 2005
Maricopa Community Colleges Governing Board approves first round of bond sales - $190M in General Obligation Bonds

July 2005
Orcutt Winslow and Modular Technology awarded contract to design and build new classroom complex at Estrella Mountain

Fall 2005
Ocotillo Hall construction begins

Spring 2006
Ocotillo Hall opened for classes January 17, 2005
