As one of the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges, Estrella Mountain is committed to ensuring that students have affordable alternatives to state and private universities. The community college system strives to make sure students have choices between certificates of completion, 2-year associate degrees and/or transferability to institutions of higher education.

Estrella Mountain awarded almost $300,000 in privately funded scholarships and another $291,000 in institutional scholarships through the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. Estrella Mountain is also committed to the belief that assessment (127k doc) of our institution and student academic achievement is a fundamental process. The college currently has six standards and measurements (127k doc) implemented that lead to quality education and the fulfillment of our service strategy,"Your Success is Our Success".
