What is Early Alert?
The purpose of the "Early Alert Initiative"
is to provide faculty an opportunity to supply early feedback on a
student's academic behavior and progress so that the student has the
best chance of success. When a faculty member chooses to refer a student
through the alert process, we will
ensure that student receives the full attention of Estrella Mountain's
support team personnel. Keep in mind that the more timely the referral
and the greater the amount of background information provided, the
greater the chance that this program will help a student avoid a
negative outcome.

Alert Program
Below is a copy of the Early Alert
Services - Online Referral Form. Five separate categories provide
options for faculty to register student behaviors as well as an
intervention recommendation option. The "live" interactive
version of the form can be accessed by faculty only by using a security
identification code. Once completed and submitted, the form is received
by the appropriate department for referral.
