Financial Aid Information

The Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Services can help students access available financial resources to assist in supporting the cost of attending college.

One purpose of financial aid is to help a student move toward the completion of a degree or certificate. Federal regulations require that Academic Progress Standards be met in order to maintain financial aid eligibility.

A student must meet the following criteria in order to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress:

  • Complete with a passing grade 2/3 of all credits attempted at Estrella Mountain Community College over the past evaluation period

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average

  • Have not attempted 150% of the course work required for the program without completing the program
